Just through the town of Yampa lies the Flat Tops Wilderness, home to the Devil’s Causewaywhich sits amongst many other great trails throughout the Flat Top range. I’ve hiked the causeway a few times now and finally brought my camera and a couple of lenses with me. The top of the causeway sits at about 11,700ft above sea level and at its narrowest point measures a little over 3 feet wide with sheer rock cliff faces on either side. Crossing the causeway is never a boring journey.
